Impact and Evaluation Study of a Complete Street produced a methodology for assessing the impact of a temporary implementation of a “Complete Street” model on Rua Joel Carlos Borges, in the region of Berrini Avenue, an important financial center and transportation hub of São Paulo. “Complete streets” are implemented based on actions of urban redesign to provide safety and well-being to all people of all ages and modes of transport. The alternatives to urban design were produced and experimented according to the local context and through community participation.
