PEDAL GROUPS in brazil: DIAGNOSIS, CONSUMPTION, AND MOTIVATIONS
This project aims to diagnose and promote pedal groups in Brazil. Pedal groups are an important cultural manifestation, present both in large metropolises and in smaller cities. In addition to the motivational diversity that makes up these groups, cyclists who ride together constitute an important socialization network. Currently, their multifaceted nature is ample, evidencing the existence of groups that leave bicycle shops, but also those that organize themselves independently. This scenario is indicative of the emerging importance of the role played by pedal groups in expanding bicycle use and prospecting for new cyclists and potential consumers of both vehicle and accessories.
